At approximately 4:40 a.m. on Tuesday, July 11, officers from the Prince George's County Police Department were called to investigate a shooting in the 4400 block of Wheeler Road in Oxon Hill.
According to investigators, upon arrival, officers found a man - who has not been identified - suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No information about a shooter or possible motive has been released by the police.
The incident remains under investigation.
